How Do I Create A Profile?
Creating a profile is easy and absolutely free. Create an account by clicking on the “New Member” “Create a Profile” or “Create a Job Post” buttons.
After reading through our disclaimer please click “I Accept” and chose to create an --Employee (personal profile) or Employer (business profile with job posts) profile. You can create both an employer and employee profile but, must do so separately.
How to Create a Personal Profile (Employee)
Your Personal Profile contains all of the information about you that employers, customers, friends and family can see on the network. Chose Yes to display your profile on the network or No to send your profile only to the employers you apply to.
Fill in the required (*) fields to start a basic account. You can always edit your account to add or subtract features. It is important to guard your personal information, remember to remove your personal information from your uploaded resume (home address, telephone number).
-Upload your resume
-Upload a Video introducing yourself or, apply to a specific job post (Be Creative)
-Upload photos of yourself, your work or your accomplishments
-Have Friends, Family, Co-Workers Etc. provide references and reply to them.
-Display your job status.
Click on the “Create” button and your Hirebreed account is complete. Remember when altering your account to always click the “Update” button when finished.
You now have a Hirebreed account! Use your profile as a showcase to attract employment, apply for jobs on our site or, send your profile to employers (outside of our site) instead of your traditional resume.
Managing Your Talent Profile
You have created a talent profile and you are now ready to apply to opportunities on Hirebreed and send your profile to employers outside of the site. Your account consists of 4 separate functions that will help you to find your ultimate job opportunity! Your Hirbreed Talent Account consists of the following tools.
My Account
Make changes to your profile in My Account. Here you can do everything from changing your password, to deleting personal information from your account (Home Address and Personal Telephone Numbers).You can upload new videos and pictures and alter any of the information people see on your profile. Update your profile as much as you like and always remember to click the Update button when finished. Please be creative and have fun!
My References
Ask your friends, family, co-workers, customers and former employers come to your profile and give you a valid reference for employers to see. Make sure to encourage those who give you a reference to post a profile on the site so that employers can verify their background. Once a reference has been made, you have the opportunity to reply to that reference and the My Reference section of your account is the place to do it. Find the reference under its category (co-worker, family etc.) and click on the Reply button, type your reply in the space provided and click Send (you can Edit any reply by clicking the Edit button under your reply) Thank the person for their support or give a little background information on your relationship to that person. It’s up to you, it’s your profile please be creative!
My Applications
All applications to job opportunities will be stored in your account under My Applications. Your account will store the Date that you applied to the opportunity, the Job Title of the opportunity with a link to the Job Description and the Status of your application. The Status will tell you if you have successfully Completed an application, Cancelled your application or Not Completed an application. If you have Not Completed your application, click on Not Completed and you will have the opportunity to Apply or Revoke your application to the job opportunity.
My Notifications
Hirebreed wants you to find the job opportunities that meet your specific requirements. We have created for your convenience My Notifications an advanced search engine that takes your specific job requirements, searches our database of opportunities and notifies you when an opportunity has been found that meets your requirements. My notifications will also notify you when new jobs come online that meet your needs. You can create as many notifications as you would like in order to pin point the best job opportunities on the site.
Click the Create button, select Job Posts from the drop down at the top of the page and use a combination of search criteria to find the best job opportunities. You can use one of the ten categories or, use a combination of criteria to search the database. Finish creating your notification by giving it a Name and Description of the opportunity you are looking for. Click the Active button to activate the search and click on Send Email to receive e-mail notifications when an opportunity has been found. Begin your search by clicking the Search button or Save the notification to your account and search later.
When you begin to receive notifications please click on the My Notifications button to view your results. Here you will see the name of the Notification you created. The Results of your search will be indicated by number of results found, click on that number to view job opportunities. Activate or de-activate your search by clicking on the Active button and receive e-mail notifications by clicking on the Send E-Mail button. Edit your search under the Edit heading and delete any search by clicking on the red X. Good Luck with your search!
How to Create a Business Profile (Employers)
Your Profile Contains all of the information about your company that businesses, customers, potential employees and the general public can see on the network.
Fill in the required (*) fields to start a basic account. You can always edit your account to add or subtract features.

-Upload photos of your company, your products, or the position to be filled
-Screen and store data on applicants in one convenient place.
Click on the “Create” button and your Hirebreed account is complete. Remember when altering your account to always click the “Update” button when finished.
You now have a Hirebreed account! Use your account to create job posts, online interviews, screen and store applicants and answer all your employment ads (on the site or outside of our site) in one convenient place.
How Do I Create A Basic Job Post?
All job posts are free to create! Create as many job posts as you would like.
Log into “Your Account” and click on “My Job Posts” then “Create a New Job Post.” Fill in the Job Title, Location, Salary, and provide a description of the position you are looking to fill (all optional). This description will appear on your job profile to be viewed by potential candidates.
Remember to click on the “Active” box to activate your new job post (you can de-activate job post when not in use).
Now, click on the “Submit” button to activate your basic job post without an online interview (see Create an Interview).
Every new job post you create will appear as a separate posting on the site. Post as many job opportunities as you would like under any job category.
**Use your Hirebreed account to answer all of your job posts even outside of our site, here’s an example of a newspaper ad!
“Company ABC is filling a new sales position to apply Please go to Hirebreed.com and create a free profile Then, type in Job Number 123456789 to apply.”
What is the Online Interview?
Hirebreed has created a two part interview system (Yes/No Questions and Written Timed Questions) that attaches to a job profile so that our members can choose the best applicants to fill their positions. Creating an interview is very easy, very effective and even more efficient with our automated messaging system. You and your applicants will appreciate the time you’ll save by conducting your preliminary interview online.
How do I create a Job Post with an online Interview?
Begin by logging into your account and filling in the requirements for a “Job Post” (see Create a Job Post). After filling in all Job Post details click the “Attach Interview” button and you will be taken to the Create an Online Interview Page. Start by giving your interview a name, and provide a description of the position to be filled (this description will be for your reference only). Now, click the “Create” button to move onto the Edit Interview page and create your own interview or, use our drop down menu of Pre-Made Online Interviews by Job Type. Use theses pre-made interviews alone or select from our list of questions to enhance your own interview.
Are my Interviews stored for later use?
All interviews created will be stored in your account under “My Online Interviews.” If you are creating a new job post you have the option to attach an existing interview to that post. Create a job post, select “Attach an Interview” and you will be taken to the Online Interviews page where pre existing interviews are stored. Click on the box beside the interview name you wish to use to attach the job post or, create a new interview by selecting the “Create New Online Interview” button.
How to manage your Online Interview
The Edit Interview page is where you will create the questions and messages to be used in your online interview. The Edit Interview page has been broken down into 7 drop down boxes where you can create and edit these questions and messages. After altering a message or a question please remember to always click the “Update” button when finished.
**Hirebreed.com has created for your convenience pre made messages in each of the notification boxes. The name, position and company that you registered under will appear at the end of each message. You can edit any message or, change the names and the titles that appear at the bottom of that message.
1. Online Interview- This is the name and description you originally gave your interview on the opening page. You can edit this page to change the name and details of the job opportunity.
2. Welcome Message and/or Instructions- When your applicant logs into your interview this is the first message the applicant will read when beginning the interview process. Welcome your applicant, explain the position they are applying for or let them know what the next step in the interview process will be. **This is a timed portion of the interview please give the message a time limit for how long you would like it to appear on the screen.
3. Pre Made Online Interviews by Job Type- A drop down menu of pre created 2 part online interviews. From the drop down menu select a job sector and chose to use all the questions provided or select only a few from the list. The time limit for each written question has been set as well as the extra time given to answer each question. Please click on the “Update” button after choosing your questions.
4. Yes/No Questions- Create a set of Yes or No questions that pre-screen your applicants. These questions will determine if the applicant qualifies to move on to the timed/written section of your interview. You, the user set the criteria for how you would like to see each question answered (Yes or No). If all questions are answered correctly the applicant will move on to part two of the interview. Upon the completion of the Yes or No section if one question does not suit your criteria (answers Yes when default set for No) then the applicant will be disqualified from the interview. A "Failure Message" will appear on the screen notifying the participant that they do not meet your minimum requirements for the job opportunity. The same message will be automatically e-mailed to the participant. Press the "Update" button after creating each question, make as many as you see fit.
5. Questions (Timed): Create a set of timed questions that your applicants will answer by typing in a space provided. Pose your question in the "Question" box and add any additional comment in the "Note" field. Finish each question by giving it a time limit. You the user will set the amount of time you feel is appropriate to answer each question. Your applicants will answer your questions in virtual time. You can review your applicant’s answers and see just how long it took them to complete each question. You can provide additional time for your applicant to answer each question. Fill in the extra time (in the “Extra Time” box) you feel a respondent may need to answer your question. Press the "Update" button after completing each question.
6. Finish Message: Create a message that will appear upon the completion of the applicant's interview. It will appear on the screen after the last question has been answered and it will be automatically e-mailed to the applicant at the same time. Thank the applicant for their participation, inform them of the next step in the interview process or, simply inform them that they have successfully finished the interview. Press the "Update" button after creating your message.
7. Failure Message: Create a message notifying the applicant that they did not meet the minimum requirements to participate in the timed portion of your interview. This message will appear upon the failure of the Yes or No section of questions. This message will be automatically e-mailed to the applicant avoiding unwanted telephone calls and e-mails by informing your applicants that they did not meet the needs for your particular position. Press the "Update" button after creating your notification.
Manage your applicants in My Job Posts
All of the job opportunities that you have created will be stored in My Job Posts. Each Job Opportunity will list the following information.
Date- The Date the post was created.
Title- The Title of the job opportunity with a link to the Edit Job Post page where you can edit your job post, attach interviews or delete interviews created.
Applications- Will list the number of people who have applied to your job post, click on the number under Applications and you will view all those who have applied to your specific opportunity (new applicants will be shown as a black number). Under the Applications link you will see the date the person applied to the post. The name of the applicant and the Occupation the applicant has listed them under. Click on the persons name and you will be taken to the View Application page. Here you can view the applicants Talent Profile, read the answers to their online interview (if required), make notes on the applicant in the Comment box and send the applicant an E-Mail. You can also view your job post you created, read the applicants references and print out the answers to their interview.
Salary- Lists the salary range that you have given to this specific job opportunity.
Act. (Active)- The Active button tells you if your specific opportunity is active on the site. You can click on the box to activate or de-activate a job post.
Edit- Under the Edit header you can edit your job opportunity or, add and subtract an online interview.
My Online Interviews
My Online Interviews stores all of the interviews you have created. Click on the interview name and you will be taken the Edit Interview page where you can make changes to the interview you have create for a specific job opportunity. Add or subtract both written and yes/no questions, change your automated reply’s or alter your message to the applicant. Editing an interview is very easy and will take you no time at all!
Under My Online Interviews you can also create new interviews to be used with a specific job post or to be stored for a later date. Please see Create an Online Interview for specific instructions.

Begin your search by clicking the Search button or Save the notification to your account and search later.

How do I apply to a job opportunity posted on the site?
Applying to a job opportunity posted on the site is very easy to do. First, you need to create a basic account, all accounts and functions are free to use and can be updated at any time. Once you have created a basic account you are free to apply to as many job opportunities as you wish. Explore our database of job opportunities, if you find something you like, click on the “Full Details” button to learn more about the opening.
If the job posting requires you to take an online interview, there will be a link under the heading Attached Online Interviews. If the interview is Required, then you must take the interview in order to apply to the job. Your answers to the interview questions will be sent to the employer along with your profile. If there is no attached interview then, just click on the Apply button and your Talent Profile will be sent to the employers account.
What is an online interview?
Hirebreed has created a two part interview system (Yes/No Questions and Written Timed Questions). The first part of the interview consists of specific Yes/No questions. The employer has created questions and given a Yes or No value to each. These questions will determine if you qualify to move on to the timed/written section of your interview. If you answer one or more of the Yes/No questions incorrectly then you will be eliminated from participating in the written interview.
The Timed/Written portion of the interview consists of written answers to questions posed by the employer. The employer has given each question a time limit they feel is appropriate to answer in a reasonable manner. Click on the + Time box at the bottom of each question to add additional time to answer the question.
After completing an interview you will be taken back to the employer’s job post. You now have the option to send your profile and answers to your online interview by clicking “Apply”. If have decided not to apply please click “Revoke”. You can take an interview as many times as you like, the employer will have a record of how many attempts you have made.
What is the Message Box in the job profile? The message box enables you to send a message to the business posting the job opportunity. You must apply in order for your message to be sent. For a job post without an interview please type your message and click Apply, the message will be sent with your profile. For a job posting with an interview, type your message, take the online interview and both the message and the interview will be sent along with your profile when you Apply after the interview has been taken.
